We are excited to announce that our partner has published two scientific articles in Elsevier Ad Hoc Networks and at CoReS 2026

The first article, titled “FINE-STACK: Flexible architecture for low-power lossy IoT Networks with programmablE network STACK and semantic runtime updates”, introduces a flexible, fine-grained network architecture where lightweight protocol functions are orchestrated centrally, enabling semantic-aware management and fast, selective runtime updates. Its hybrid design combines local control with optional global optimization, improving network stack programmability. Experiments on a real testbed show that this approach enhances operational performance while significantly reducing update size and time, all within the strict resource constraints of low-power Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Overall, FINE-STACK makes practical runtime reconfiguration and network programmability feasible for IoT.

Elsevier Ad Hoc Networks is an international and archival journal providing a publication vehicle for complete coverage of all topics of interest to those involved in ad hoc and sensor networking areas.

The second article, “Divide and conquer: a semantic and modular reconfiguration of the network stack for constrained wireless networks”, is a shorter version of the first one and was honored with the Best Paper Award.

CoRes is a francophone conference aimed at bringing together the entire academic and industrial community wishing to share their expertise and recent results related to the wide range of issues concerning communication networks. This year’s event is held in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, France from June 1 to 5.
