We are excited to announce that our partner has published a new scientific article at AINA 2025

The article, titled “Programmable Solutions for Low-power Lossy Wireless Networks: A Study of SDN and Femto Containers”, explores network programmability techniques for Low-power Lossy Wireless Networks (LLWNs) and combines Software-Defined Networking for control plane programmability and Femto Containers for lightweight data plane virtualization. A proof-of-concept validation on the FIT IoT-LAB testbed demonstrates the feasibility of this approach, effectively meeting LLWN constraints while incurring a slight increase in packet processing delay.

AINA is an international conference on Advanced Information Networking and Applications (hence the name of the conference). The conference covers theory, design and application of computer networks, distributed computing, and information systems. This year’s event is held in Barcelona, Spain from April 9 to 11.
