We are pleased to announce that IMT Atlantique is recruiting Thomas Le Tarnec starting October 1, 2024, for a PhD thesis focused on the “Programmable Wireless Protocol Stack”. Thomas Le Tarnec is currently completing his engineering training at the École Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Rennes (ESIR).
The PhD thesis will leverage the software-defined paradigm (i.e., SDN and SDR) to make wireless networks fully programmable, enabling ultimate flexibility, from the reconfiguration of the protocol suite at runtime to the deployment of any future wireless technologies on the same infrastructure.
The thesis will be supervised by Georgios Papadopoulos (IMT Atlantique) and Julien Montavont (ICube). Additionally, the thesis will be co-directed by Guillaume Le Gall (IMT Atlantique) and Thomas Noel (ICube).
We are excited to welcome Thomas to IMT Atlantique and look forward to his contributions to PERENNE.
